New York: The state plans a couple of wind farms to power electricity in the Long Island and Brooklyn areas. The farms are scheduled to be built and owned by two separate European businesses and the state will pay $155 and $146 per megawatt hour while the current going rate for the non-wind version is $36 per megawatt hour. Pennsylvania: The results of the latest auction for PJM Interconnection is that it will pay 700% more for power. The company says that the increase is because the supply of power plants is decreasing. Power is pretty much available through the start of 2026, but emission standards by a Kamala Harris EPA will cause more to close. Translation: We need President Trump back in the White House ASAP.
