I've had several recent experiences where I extended basic kindness to black women - most recently, offering to let a woman with a few groceries cut ahead of me in line. In each case, the woman did not thank me, or even smile.
The grocery lady was clearly mind-blown, as her face contorted, her body was trying to jump out of its skin and it was obvious that she couldn't decide whether or not to accept my offer of kindness. She hemmed and hawed with the goofiest facial expressions I've seen in quite a while, then conceded to jumping ahead of me but without a word of acknowledgment. The term "bat shit crazy" comes to mind.
I've seen more and more evidence of this leftist dysphoria of late. Conversely, I encounter more black people who respond with genuine appreciation when I say hello or howyadoin' . . . Some seem surprised.
I'm a white man married to a Mexican woman so half my family is Hispanic, and we have Asians and blacks on my side. I've always had good friends of diverse race, and treat people simply as PEOPLE. BO and the idiot media really did a number on this country . . .
Heh, If I roll up to the checkout with a full cart, I always usher people behind me to go first if they are standing in line with an arm full of a few items. Usually, they always pause as if not expecting it and only sometimes get a thank you. Do not expect one though, personally.
Yep -- "do unto others . . . You know -- the thing."
