For those who have not been following Russia v. Ukraine closely, Russia has been slowly grinding down the Ukrainian Army in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad direction. Both cities are vital supply hubs for the war, with lots of highways, industry, and railways.
Russia has been pushing very hard the past few weeks, taking village after village at rates we haven't seen in almost 2 years. This has culminated in Russia advancing nearly 60 km in 2 weeks. They are already in Myrnohrad.

Myrnohrad has a population of over 46,000 as of 2022. Pokrovsk, a few miles from Myrnohrad, has a population of 60,000. Together over 100,000 population, about to be captured by Russian forces. Terrible news for Ukraine.

A strategic supply town for Ukraine. This will collapse a lot of their supply to the south, which could result in massive losses later.

Another important town in the region.
Who knows what we could see by the end of today. But it seems that Ukraine is collapsing in real time. EYES ON! Watch for false flags to try to distract from this!
At the same time Ukraine has taken Russian territory for the first time in the war. Ukraine now occupies a large area in Kursk. Supposedly 500 square miles. This week they began attacks in the Belgorod region.
This argues against a collapse.
Both sides are making moves. Both sides are gaining territory. Both sides are losing territory.
You can say both sides are taking a gamble too.
You know Ukraine is wasting time and manpower by incursions into Russia. They can't hold this land.
Well people were saying they would be smashed in 3 days. Putin now says October. And they can't take any troops from Pokrovsk to do it.
Invading Kursk is a strategic gamble long term, but it's had several tactical successes so far.
Putin didn't even put the military or the Intel agencies in charge of the Kursk operations. Putin has appointed his former bodyguard, Alexey Dyumin to lead it. That feels significant to me
Have you noticed that the Russians have not been rushing?
The slow grind suits the Russians better, they lose approx one man for every ten of the Ukrainians AFAIK.
