When I see people like this young lady I get teary-eyed. I silently pray for God's intervention in their lives so they can lead a normal daily existence. How much love and patience the family must extend to her every moment of her life. When I'm at work I see a guy walking the aisles. He's an average fellow, yet I've not had the opportunity to chat with him. He has lost both legs and one arm, and an eye yet he is postive and upbeat. When I finally get a moment to talk with him I'm going to say...."You've got a story to tell and I'd love to hear it". One day I was pulling a pallet through the store and I caught a quick glimpse of him. I hurriedly said, "Hey, how's it going"..He replied "Wonderful". As grumpy and harsh I might be, I do have a soft spot for folks with disabilites. They didn't ask for them, yet they persevere every single day. May God show grace upon them. They are here for a reason, to bring us closer to Him.
