I had not heard this, thanks. A state department of health is not on my reading list, though, and there is a very large amount of us who stopped listening to them for awhile, Up here, there is a strong distrust of the State among most homesteaders and small farmers. The bigger populations live in Bernie land in Burlington and Montpelier. Rural Vermonters know the difference. Roosters do not lay eggs and you cannot get semen from a cow to impregnate another cow. As an older woman, I tend to call all younger men "son" when talking to them , as in "Be careful now son with that ladder" to the chimney sweep, and I will continue to say "how is your daughter" to my friends, when visiting with them in town. I honestly do not know, personally, anyone or any family going through this gender confusion. "Vermont health officials" have less influence than the price of soybeans (we dont grow those up here)

What a good based woman you are. Especially about roosters could not lay eggs or cow could not impregnate another. Great way to put it.
