You don't seem to be fully caught up on the situation, as there was a legal representation but she resigned and the judge froze her shit.
Elon is not in the wrong here; Elon refused to bow to their requirements to suppress free speech, and so Elon bowed out.
No, I'm well aware. Their rep didn't resign, X made the decision to cease operations rather than comply with Brazilian law. Just because Elon, you, or I don't agree with the law it doesn't mean he can ignore it without consequences.

Then on top of that, they're punishing their own citizens for bypassing a ban placed on a company.
That shows who is truly in the wrong. It is quite clear what the goal is.
