People don't usually like it when I tell them Jesus was a Gnostic, go figure.

How do you remain so positive in this timeframe? I really struggle when I think about how docile and compliant the majority of people are, I have trouble visualising what would be capable of waking them up that wouldn't also shut them down.

Genuinely curious. Happy to DM with you anytime by the way, I'm usually a bit circumspect with my public postings.

The Gnostic movement started about 100 AD, so you might say Jesus' teachings were the template for the movement. Being the divine Son of God may have inspired the sect, but he didn't advocate it - he is God incarnate, not some self-reflective spiritual figure.

But if you do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty, and you are poverty.

I didn't mention Jesus being a 'self-reflective spiritual figure'.
