Reasonable probability he signed a deferred prosecution agreement and this “mea culpa” is part of that. Trump has dropped some crumbs indicating that Zuck was indicted with serious enough charges for life in prison (probably human trafficking facilitation as well as 2020 election rigging). https://greatawakening.win/p/1994fUigNN/trump-warns-zuckerberg-and-anyon/c/

Legally, for him, this is dumb move, unless he was already investigated, indicted, and charged (and did a deal). He appears to be controlled by whitehats now (new puppetmaster).
