At least they let something "take over" that's not addictive and doesn't kill them in the end and even has the potential to convey tremendous health benefits.
So MF that can't go to work without smoking a joint out in his car, or taking a smoke break to go smoke a joint out in his car, or runs out to the bushes to take 'shit' to smoke a joint isn't addicted?
I've worked with people that that couldn't function for two hours without finding some excuse to hide and get high. That is addicted in my book, and I have known several like that over the years. People with addictive personality disorder get addicted no matter what their addiction of choice is.
Couldn't function is the operative word. These men can't function without it. Because it allows them to function at all. And it works. So you would deny them that? I was able to use it and over time I've not had to. Stopped on a dime whe it was time. I don't drink or take any other pharma. Now I don't smoke either.
couldn't function was a cognitive choice
Should people be stopped from using it? No, but everyone needs to understand there will be people that abuse it just like there are people that abuse alcohol.
Yep I've seen people get addicted to the gym even. There's a big difference between workout out for health and going so often that they have a panic attack if their gym closes and are freaking out that their hotel doesn't have a good gym if they're going on a trip and so on.
They might think they need it but no one is getting the shakes or puking strictly from going without smoking. Some people rely on it for therapeutic purposes and may experience symptoms of whatever ailment it is they are suffering if they can't medicate.
Whaah whaah whaah, downvote the meanie head!
