The buses were actually very clean, at least back in 2018. But some stoner would get on and suddenly it stunk like skunk.

I am more accustomed to public transit autobus smelling of onions, perfume, piss, and vinegar.

I would assume Denver's population & reputation would suggest the same atmosphere regardless of the cannabis users.
