Correct. When I still lived in South Africa I carried a fishing knife and a small stun gun.

Never really had to use them, just seeing the glint of light off the blade or the blue spark between the electrodes was always enough to deter the monkey people intending to rob me. Soon as they realise you’re not the average easy target white guy, they promptly fuck off.
