I was raised in a Baptist church. EVERYTHING was "from the pit of Hell." I was with my friend and his mom at a KB Toystore looking at Star Wars action figures. "Star Wars is from the pit of Hell!" "No, it says right here these are from Hong Kong." I got the same crap from my mom about Lord of the Rings until I told her that Tolkien had led staunch atheist CS Lewis to the Lord. That shut her up.
