I don't see the problem. Emirates is an awesome airlines. American Airlines, Delta, and United are shit and treat their customers like dog shit. If you want to know what customer service feels like, take a flight on Emirates.

Miami is the Capitol of Latin America. A lot of flights to/from Latin America originate/go through Miami. A lot of European airlines fly from Latin America to Miami and then refuel/rekit for their trip across the water. It's pretty standard.
