How about passing a law requiring all criminals to have a "lock" on their guns... so the government can shut it off, locking the gun before they can commit a crime?

OH... because criminals would never do that. That's why they are criminals. They don't obey the laws.

Well then... why make law abiding citizens vulnerable by locking OUR guns, when criminals don't have the same restrictions? DUH!!!!
