I have been waiting for him to enter the political arena. I believe this has the potential to bring great hope to working-class communities throughout Ireland, and great momentum going into the general election.

The National Party, Ireland First (Derek Blighe's Party), and the Irish People have formed a National Alliance. Irish Freedom Party has not joined, and I'm not sure where Independent Ireland and independent councillors Malachy Steenson and Gavin Pepper stand on it.

Conor McGregor should be a unifying force.
