I am assuming the "investment" is actually a bet via gambling portal. If you lose millions due to some fraud, then the claim is there could be a suit for that.
I am not a lawyer, though I will speak with one about this concept.
I am not a lawyer.
Hypothetically, a person who places a bet for $1M (let's make it clear they put $1M down & are hoping for any increased return) with good faith in the government to provide a fair election. Then the government, (regardless of party) either uses, or allows, any number of election fraud systems to be used. The person who placed that bet would have no standing on the funds they lost due to rigging or falsifilying data?
I have a hard time believing that they wouldn't have standing, though maybe I just don't understand the legal system enough & would love to understand what you seem to about it.
edit: Yeah my grammar was way off. I really need to double check every post before sending.
Thank you for that. This make sense & I appreciate it. Though are you saying that the person placing the bet would not be able to name the election board in a suit, or any of the government agencies involved in fraud, because the betting market is the only group that is allowed to be sued in a case like this?
