Sorry, this is largely pro bolshevik falsehoods. American foreign policy has been highly questionable throughout the 20th century, without doubt. But blaming the US for the Holodomor? Sorry, thats just not true.
The Russians after 1919 (At least unil the death of Stalin) were the bad guys, pure and simple. Look at the treatment of noncombatants- mass starvation and executions.
Hitler initiated Barbarossa because it was plain in Stalins posturing that he planned to head toward Europe in the next half dozen years. Barbarossa was supposed to be the counter, to eliminate the threat. Was Hitler a great guy? Probably not- he was a hard man, who suffered from many ailments, and was surroumded by people wanting to usurp his power from 1940 onward. He killed to maintain his power on many occasions. There was mass starvation when Germanh invaded the USSR, due to poor government planning on both sides. Further, the Germans killed and enslaved alot of people.
Compare that though, with the Red Horde that swept toward Berlin in 1944-45, looting, torturing and gang raping every women and girl from 9-80.
Were the Germans the good guys? Some of them were I think- I think many of the men at the front were honorable, God fearing men. They certainly had their share of sadistic killers as well- especially in the upper administrative positions.
At the end of the day though, as a civilian or noncombatant, I would ultimately rather be captured by the Germans than the Russians (USSR Russians that is).
The USSR was evil. Czarist Russia was -I think -worth saving. Modern Russia, for all its many faults is a Christian nation that celebrates family. Har to argue with that.
Bottom line? Communism and Bolshevism are institutionalized sadism and psychopathy. Evil. As a rule.
...compelling observation, nicely stated...
