I think you might get some back. Not all of it, but a percentage. That money was collected from you and stored away by the elite.
I think the elite may have already forfeited much of their enormous wealth. Think back to the story of Trump taking the gold from the Vatican.
The Vatican had a bank that has never been audited. Banksters could keep their money there, no questions asked. It could money from drug trafficking, human trafficking or American tax payers. It was being collected and stored in the Vatican bank where they never had to answer any questions about from where it came.
Unfortunately, they had a habit of diddling little kids and Trump had the evidence to back it up. Trump gave them an ultimatum they couldn't refuse. Give us back our tax money you have been stealing for the last 100 years or we release everything. The best is yet to come.
We found someone who enjoys paying taxes, has never gave his waitress a tip and is to lame to work a day of overtime.
The amount of money I earn does not raise the inflation rate. Anyone with a basic understanding in economics knows the inflation rate is based on the amount of fiat currency our government prints.
When you become unwilling to make your own life any better, don't expect sympathy from anyone else.
Tips are luck based? People like yourself make it luck based because it sounds like you refuse to pay them. I think they call that being a cheap bastard.
Tips actually bypass the government, eliminating a chance to tax them. The money is going straight into the waitress's pocket. This reduces the overhead for the restaurant and brings down the price of your meal.
Remember the Boston Tea Party when they protested a 2 cent tax on tea. Today we are paying upwards of 40% of our income on government taxes. For you to advocate we all pay more taxes is mind blowing. Insufficient taxes is not the problem, it is the size of our government that is the issue. Eliminate 90% of the government and we can all keep our hard-earned money in our pockets,
You need to take a couple classes in economics. You have no idea what drives the prices of goods and services. Its not the amount of money in your pocket, its the amount of money in circulation. When the government prints more, we pay more. When it switches from pocket to pocket there is no effect.
I work 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week is full time. I get paid every two weeks. If I go in for one day of overtime per paycheck it adds $1000 to every paycheck and guess what, I still have 14 days off each month to do whatever I need to do. What the hell do you mean by personal care? If I work 2 days per month overtime, I won't be able to take care of myself? Sorry, I take that money and I buy organic food, instead of the cheap shit. I use that money to take vacations and save for my retirement. Working overtime gives me the financial means to treat myself to an upgraded life.
Increasing minimum wage increases the price of goods. The employer has to raise prices to make a profit after paying employees higher wages.
There is a difference between government enforced policies and people working harder to get ahead. When the government gets involved, the price of everything will increase, apply that to housing, automobiles, education, etc.
Retailers do not know how much money we have in our pockets. I can walk around with a $million in my pocket and the prices will be the same. Retailers have to keep prices reasonable to stay in business, our you will shop elsewhere.
You really sound disgruntled. Work a couple days of OT and save for a vacation, you sound like you need it.
1st no tax on tips, now this. Yay, almost wish I wasn't retired. Can I get a refund on all my taxes I've paid?

Congratulations, today you win the retard race.
