When my first child, a daughter, was born my life really began. After first deciding I wanted nothing more than a family I waited 18 years before becoming a Mom. I just loved everything about it. My husband and I went to Hunt Country Furniture in Wingdale, New York, and bought a big, sturdy oak and maple rocking chair, in which I rocked and sang her to sleep. It was wonderful, and I recommend motherhood to any who have the desire. If one is lucky, or willing to forgo some luxuries of the single life, it is thrilling to watch the little ones learn day by day while being a full-time mother. It's amazing how young their minds form ideas and actions which will be used throughout life. Congratulations! Enjoy every day.
