"In addition, sacred clowns serve an important role in shaping tribal codes. Unbound by societal constraints, heyókȟan are able to violate cultural taboos freely and thus critique established customs.[5] Paradoxically, however, by violating these norms and taboos, they help to define the accepted boundaries, rules, and societal guidelines for ethical and moral behavior. They are the only ones who can ask "Why?" about sensitive topics; they use satire to question the specialists and carriers of sacred knowledge or those in positions of power and authority."
think ^ sounds a lot like Trump, and the article mentions how only those who communicate with Thunder Beings can be Heyoka.
This heyoka term reminds me of the concept of a court jester. They were the only ones who could joke about the king, his reign, or problems within the kingdom to highlight the problems to the king without getting in trouble. A way for the king to figure out what people really thought and if certain things needed ro change.
exactly, the character is necessary, to keep the plot moving forward, can find examples throughout cultures.
And one of my favorite Q hints; the definition of Heyoka contains the word 'contrarian' and there happens to be a JFK Jr. quote with that word;
“I have,” says Kennedy, “a slight contrarian impulse I can't seem to shake.”
Contrarian streak?
“Sometimes the weight of expectations, of doing anything, can be a little bit heavy,” Kennedy says. “For me, it's always sort of fun to try to play with the blocks and see what you can come up with that's a little different."🐸
exactly!^
he's a jester stirring the pot, and it's amazing to experience🤠
the Sioux call them Heyoka, and they make change by exposing faults.

Sometimes these sacred clowns are called Contraries.
wow that's interesting, didn't know that. And 'Contraries', sounds a bit like 'fairies'...
I've been reading about the elementals & Tuatha De Danann, some 'contrarians' there too. https://www.ancient-origins.net/myths-legends/tuatha-d-dannan-enchanting-predecessors-irish-fairies-and-elves-007657
There's a fantastic YouTube rabbit hole where a guy has investigated the collection of clown-like costumes and the biblical history of nephilim.
