Fletch17 needs to listen closely at about the 20 second mark where President Trump says “the other never got a shot off.” It’s clear he means Routh.

Otherwise it was good to hear President Trump describe the scenario.

What is interesting is after the first attempt back in July the story was the Secret Service could not initiate gunfire. If that was true then, it appears they changed that rule of engagement.
