The goal of The Great Awakening has been to awaken people who were "asleep", i.e. brainwashed, mind-controlled, NPC's.

In this case i praise the Almighty for causing this man to repent now, and i believe his regrets are genuine and his apology sincere. Of course he still must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
