Wait, I already ran into you before! You did some work on Sparcade ... I was one of the original testers of it ... I recall people being all pissed off that there were only 10 or so people allowed to try it. I also remember the version I tried had Donkey Kong running flawlessly, but no audio.
I never worked on Sparcade... that was all Dave Spicer, but I did supply some roms that I dumped for him (and MAME) in those days, and was also one of the testers. I did some work on MAME on three different drivers, and some minor work on a short-lived emulator called Retrocade, in the early 2000s. I was one of the early R.G.V.C.ers, and later, R.G.V.A.C. on usenet. I'm sure the username gave me away, and since I'm probably on an FBI watchlist somewhere, it doesn't really matter kek
Retrocade ... know it well and know one of the dudes behind it :-).
I was also on RGVAC up until it was mostly abandoned :-). I really don't go to the other usual, modern places for arcade game junkies :-). I miss the old days when it was geeks and nerds talking tech + people bitching about that Mixon dude not sending people their PCBs :-) . That entire hobby is loaded with scumbags anymore.
