I give out Commods foods in Calif. been doing it for years, At an old The Grange Hall. Officially named The National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry. At the only building that remains that was also, as so happens to have been old CCC camp/barracks of about 7 buildings plus out buildings, ( I actually have an old picture of the camp.) from the 30s good ol Roosevelt New Deal.... Chicken in every pot car in every Garage.

While reading the old booklets I was surprised to see that the Grand Pooba was required to make oaths that to whom the books would be given, to learn the masonic like rituals, make appointments for leadership etc. that no one else was ever allowed to view the hardback booklets in there possession and he was required with the upmost urgency to know where every single copy was at all times.

It surprised me because I always thought of the grange as simply farmers sharing crop info and the like... yes and NO! they wear regalia, have rituals, opening and closing...

Way more of a secret society than I could have imagined than I had thought and I had been reading about Masons, Jesuits, Rosicrucian's and the like for years, I only skimmed the top but then had to check if they were mason related... because it looks like they recruited teens and young adults it looks like a precursor to Masons
