Yes - those who are "in Christ" are the "Israel of God" under the New Covenant of Jesus Christ - both "Jew" & "Gentile".
Galatians 6:15-16 (KJV) - For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
**1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) **- But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people.....
The Apostle Paul gives us a description of what a real "Jew" is: **Romans 2:28-29 (KJV) **- For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."
Thank you!! No one seems to grasp this, the moment they denied Jesus Christ as the Messiah is the moment they split themselves from His love and favor. You can’t be His people while saying His Son eternally drowns in liquid excrement. To do so, while claiming to pray for another, far different lord, who is not Christ, is to literally pray for the coming of the ANTI-Christ.
Any who does so, is not our friend, not our strongest ally, and certainly not His chosen people. THEY twist words and steal names to further their objectives by any means- so why wouldn’t they ofc try to steal the highest of monikers for themselves??
I think we, as believers, are “Israel”. The more I read the Bible, the more I am convinced of this.
