I can't think of anything diversity has given us. I can think of a lot of things a lack of diversity has given us by allowing unique cultural ideas to mix.

Like how many kids grew up watching Anime's, which came from imitation of Western animation. Food's a great example, that's been going on forever. We wouldn't have >90% of our meals if it wasn't for people going "damn what are you making over there?!"
