Well, in the past you had to prove you were related to a Mason. I wouldn't doubt they've relaxed the requirements due to lack of newcomers to fill all the positions. 🤷🏻♀️
Back in the 60's it was a good move; social and business connections, community service, etc. a networking avenue. There's a lodge in almost every town. But now, and with all the negativity regarding Masons, probably the right decision. It will consume all your time.
