Ahh, One might want to check on what Josh Mc Dowell, who has been studying the sources of Scripture and the Life of Jesus for practically his whole life, has to say on the subject. (pgs 159 - 174)

Some accept the idea of a Q - meaning Quelle, source, and date it from about 50 AD. From Mc Dowell's research, Q does not deal with the specific teachings listed here, especially not reincarnation. Rather, "All that we really possess is a collection of verses from Matthew and Luke which are said to make up the Q document based on present literary criticism"

In Josh McDowell's book, He Walked Among Us this is covered quite thoroughly. - And there's no mention of reincarnation, karmic debt, or the third eye. reincarnation is inferred falsely from this statement of Jesus: Matt. 11 : 9 - 15

Matt. 11 : 9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.

For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Jesus answers this Himself in Matthew 17, in the account of the transfiguration, where Moses and Elijah actually do appear to three of the disciples: (vs. 10)

And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

John the Baptist had a similar call and spirit as Elijah (aka Elias)
