I think scurvy is caused by lack of vitamin C? Not sure. But, there are a few vegetables that are rich in vitamin C (and of course there's always vitamin supplements but I never remember to take them lol).

If you're on a carnivore diet then congratulations, the gene you were born with that makes babies produce their own vitamin C is reactivated in you, therefore you don't need any vitamin C because you are producing it naturally like bears, wolves, and newborn babies. That's the answer to why people on "carnivore diet" do not get scurvy.
What about Scurvy? if you don't eat any fruit you WILL get scurvy, is there a work around for this?

OK, thanks. Our bodies don't produce Vit C so its vital.

That doesn't seem to explain why sailors on an all meat diet got scurvy until the RN introduced lime juice on their ships. But then I am not a doctor.
been keto carnivore since 2019..never had scurvy.
