So many people have never even heard of this and I’m so glad that their are “some” out there that have!
I lost over 30 lbs. in just 5 weeks on carnivore.
My diet was lots of burger patties and occasional steaks, scrambled eggs with milk and butter, and cheese omelettes.
Before that, I had been intermittent fasting and losing 1-2 lbs. a week. Lost about 30 lbs. doing that, eating only between noon-8PM. I still do that on carnivore but I eat extra calories on purpose some days just to challenge my metabolism and keep the insulin system working.
I occasionally eat 10-25 g of carbs a day, usually 10g (170g of Greek Yogurt and 5g of Nashville Hot Honey is 10 g of carbs).
And once a month or so, I randomly order an ice cream cone when my wife stops for something and get 100g or more of carbs in 1 sitting. I honestly feel like a kid again when that happens. Total sugar rush.
Normally very disciplined, though, and I eat a lot more steak now. Ribeyes went on sale for $5.00/lb. around Labor Day. They were Select but I didn't care at that price. Got some prime ribeyes for $16.99/lb. as well, which was an amazing deal. One of the benefits of Texas.
Hell yeah that’s awesome! I eat the exact same way, kerrygold butter on almost everything 😂 I literally just started that diet because prior to that I was working out every day and eating as much as I could to get big fast, well I did get big fast but I also started getting a beer belly lol I lost way more weight than I anticipated on carnivore so now I just eat more fats, more calories, and more meat to continue gaining weight but it’s much more lean weight now.
