This happened in Sarasota a damn had to be lifted or it would fail and the state flooded many homes in Florida before the hurricane!

We have serious infrastructure issues that need repair. Bridges and dams. We need to stop with the shiny shit and get back to basics like the pipes underground! Stop building developments and high rises without adding pipes in the city that they connect to. Our country has overdeveloped without adding the infrastructure just favoring developers in politics. It's all coming home to roost!
