FWIW she graduated from Sidwell Friends School, a very expensive K-12 Quaker academy in DC.
Alumni include Bill Nye, Chelsea Clinton, Malia and Sasha Obama, and Davis Guggenheim. Oh yeah, also some of Let's Go Brandon's grandsprogs.
Tuition alone is something like $55k a year, plus fees and boarding.
In my experience in the 1980s to 1990s around graduates of very expensive Quaker academies out east, they are hard left/bolsh types who try to erase their privilege by hating on working class, rural, and southern white people. They reward each other for this behavior.
And thus they get to inflict and extend the caste system from which they benefit so richly...while pretending it's really not that, oh no, they're on the side of FAIRNESS and such.
Her college was super lefty Carleton College in Minnesota. Annual tuition and fees approach $70k, not counting boarding.
Mother Jones magazine can't rely on sales to operate, so gets a bunchton of bling from the "Emerson Collective," the money laundry for turbo lefty Laurene Jobs (who got her billions by batting her eyes in class at her teacher at Stanford, Steve Jobs, marrying him, then surviving his early death from cancer).
In my opinion, any school or personnel who inflict personal/political biases into the school day should be suspended an d then fired if it occurs a second time. Schools are about learning and both sides should be presented.
