I don’t get why people pray to the Archangel. They do God’s bidding. If you wanna pray to someone, pray to God/Jesus. The archangels don’t work for us. Only God answers prayers. Only God can make promises. Anyone else is lying. Anyone else has intentions of their own.
So Donald Trump is asking for your prayers. Are you going to tell him that our prayers are useless and he should go ask Jesus to take care of everything? I don’t know what you’re going to do but I do. I’m going to pray for him and ask God to protect him.
Hardly. By that standard the Apostles were being contentious for correcting theological issues between churches / believers.
This isn't about me, this is about God's word.
It's a pretty important issue ... Should we pray to God exclusively as we see demonstrated in scripture or should we also pray to angels and saints which we do not see in scripture?
Because if the second position is wrong that means those prayers to unheard and unanswered. That's a very big deal.
The fact that you have to make a personal attack instead of appealing to scripture shows how indefensible your position is and where the pride truly lies.

Exactly.
But I get it though.... It's one of Satan's lies / strategies to make prayers ineffective since only God hears / answers prayers.
And who started this unbiblical tradition that conflicts with 1 Timothy 2:5? The Catholic Church.

They are being contentious for the sake of sounding holier than others. Let them keystroke in pride and contentiousness.
I will continue to pray.
