I pray out loud when I'm alone. And yes, I talk to my guardian angel and other angels, and I ask the saints to pray for me.
So again, how do you explain how they can hear you? Perhaps your own, personal guardian angel could, if one is actually with you all the time. But the saints? The other angels? You believe they are omniscient or omnipresent? I'm asking genuinely, not to be contrary.
Godโ has allowed for mysteries. In heaven we may be allowed to know more. What kind of Godโ would Heโ be if we had the same understanding as Heโ does?!. Remember, Hisโ ways are higher than ours. Godโ bless.
Indeed, His ways are higher. And Jesus taught us how to pray. I just don't recall anywhere in the bible we were taught or told it is acceptable to pray to a created being, rather than the creator.
where in the Bible does it specify that saints, angels, and/or archangels cannot hear you pray?
I do know it says that there are different levels of understanding, and not all of God's secrets are made clear in the Bible. Praying to God is universal, but there may be more levels to that.
is it our business how other people pray?
pray the way you want. if you want deeper understanding, you should be asking God to draw you closer.
Why become defensive and nasty? I am asking sincerely. I have no reason to believe that everybody in heaven is attuned to everything happening on earth. If you have some biblical proof text that states that, please share it because I would like to know.
The reason I care is because I have concerns about the salvation of people who believe things that are contrary to biblical teaching. And that is what I believe this is.
again, there's a difference between seeing everything happening on earth, and hearing your name when you are called.
the Bible doesn't specify whether they can hear you. But it does specify that there are deeper truths to be learned than are made clear in the Bible. Those who do it right can be led deeper into the mysteries.
so again, if you really want to know an answer that isn't contained in the Bible, you're best bet is to ask God in prayer. The answer will come.
