I have a 50 year class reunion that I would like to attend Oct. 26th. Venue is 4 hours away. I kinda torn because I don't really want to be away from my family during this time when something could pop off.
Just keep your car tank filled up, stay strapped, and go say hi to old classmates.
And drive home the second things start getting iffy in the world. 4 hours isn't much of time for things to go south (unless the is a nuke set off between you and home)

Go and have fun. No regrets in this life.
I know the feeling. My wife has to go back up to DC this week. Hate having her up there.
Two of my nieces live in D.C. I wonder sometimes if their high profile positions are worth the risk of living in that area.
