Applied in June, she just had her visa interview tonight and it was approved. 3.5 months from the date application was mailed until approval. It would have been even quicker but the interview appointment slots were full and she had to wait a month. At the time of filing we were told it would take a year or more. It was taking two+ years during COVID.
I'm assuming they're trying to import votes and this has nothing to do with efficiency. Or it was a miracle 🙏
Did she need a vax?
Unfortunately yes. This entire process has caused me so much inner turmoil. I wish there was a way to sue for discrimination. The Mexican border would have been much cheaper
We had a fren posting here for years, complaining about the vax requirement, last I heard he is still stuck overseas.
She got out of the COVID one because she already had it. It's disgusting that it's still a requirement and you can't fight it, because they'll just move on to the next applicant
Coyote Cartel costs 10,000 I don't think that would have been cheaper, but congratulations. I married abroad and brought my wife here and that had always taken longer. At the time K-1 was like 6 months, my wife's visa took 9, but a month was a snag with immigration here and another month because of Hong Kong police clearance snafu.
We hit discrimination when my wife applied for citizenship, against me, I'm white.
My fiance is Filipina. The only discrimination I've received is from female American liberals. Which is the reason I went abroad to look in the first place. My fiance is conservative, catholic, wants children, doesn't care about careers, loathes the idea of abortion. Basically she reminds me of how women here used to be. Family first
Amen! My wife is a Filipina from Mindanao, and I married her for the same reasons. I lived in the Philippines for 3 years until the COVID lockdowns forced us to move back to the USA. Fliipinas are 100% better than the fat liberal pigs and Karens.
I had I think an awakening of my soul after my divorce a few years ago. I was lost, and I just woke up one day literally and figuratively. I decided I wanted to spend my life with someone that shared my values, and not someone that wanted to suck my life force away.
Long story short, I met my fiance on Christian Filipina. It was a one in a billion shot, I wasn't going to settle again just for fear of being alone. But we hit it off immediately. And at this point I believe my life trials led me to her. The lessons I learned where needed to find this woman and have this relationship. I was warned about being scammed...none of that was accurate. I'm not dumb.
I went to Cebu for a few months earlier this year. It changed my life. She was amazing and real. Nothing fake about her. She introduced me to her whole family and life. She never asked for a dime, she never had a boyfriend before (she's 37 and I'm 49). But it was immediately like we were together forever. I can't wait for her to get here and move on with the best part of my life
Yeah, I dated after my American wife and I divorced, I just found duds! I waited 21 years and got lucky finding my Pinay. Good luck to you both!
Any tips for making the transition easier? I've installed some toilet butt blasters, got a bunch of warm clothing, stocked up on ph foods. I just want to make sure she has everything she needs to feel comfortable
Buy rice in Bulk, let her pick out the fish. Make sure she has the ability to call the Philippines. Let her help her family financially.
Just checked Mailorderedbrides.com stock…it’s through the roof! Look at FJB effecting change during the last few months of his presidency
I have a cousin who has an Iranian fiance that just started that process to get him over here too...initial thought was no way in hell, or it's gonna take forever at the very least. Nope...been completely fast tracked.
I feel sorry for the Iranian people who are largely good people, and have a shit Government.
So she’s registered Democrat and listed as already voting?
Whaat happened to the Covid requirement?
She had it already 😭
