I took my disabled adult son to the doctor today and the reception asked me if he was ever in the military. She stated it was something they were now required to ask. What's going on? She stated one of her twin sons received a selective service card in the mail but the older twin did not. Are they bringing back the draft?

The requirement to register with the Selective Service has been in force for decades, it isn’t a sign they are bringing back the draft.
I don’t have a good guess on them asking about military service. Maybe they can file for some type of reimbursement for care provided to disabled veterans?
He's not a veteran. He's been disabled since the age of fifteen.
Did they ask about weed or other drug use? I'd say that would be the next question to try to show possession of a gun and drug use.
No. Just military service.
Possible they were trying to get you a discount if eligible and/or maybe a government kickback for themselves?
