I took my disabled adult son to the doctor today and the reception asked me if he was ever in the military. She stated it was something they were now required to ask. What's going on? She stated one of her twin sons received a selective service card in the mail but the older twin did not. Are they bringing back the draft?

Not a civilian Dr's business, I wouldn't answer those questions. If I want Dr to know of my military service, I'll tell them on my own. That's a really odd question from a Dr.
It is, but is likely coming from some government clown employee dictating it to the clinics and hospitals -- just like muh Covid shot.
Several years ago, I was asked by a nurse (before doctor came in) a series of questions, such as, "Do you own a firearm?"
I told her that was none of her business, and she agreed. But probably put that down on the form because "... well ... it's required!"
The doctors should refuse to ask. But the government goons should not be telling them to ask in the first place.
