We had one school shooting here 3 years ago. The teacher shot him. Didn't kill him but stopped him. Police showed up 10 minutes later. In that 10 minutes, the kid could have killed many. He didn't.

One more piece to the story. The teacher did not have a carry license and was prosecuted but only received a fine. The teacher was a female.
