North Carolina towns affected have high value quartz and lithium mines in the vicinity. Billion dollar corporations seeking to expand were denied as the residents didn't want to sell/move away or allow the mining.

Lo and behold, floods in mountain towns, no support, no government assistance, biblical damage in the exact areas where these billion dollar corporations are seeking to expand their mining operations.

What are the odds....
