MRE (Meals Ready to Eat) Heater - hot instant meals without heat source:

Just add a little water to pouch and you have an instant, hot meal without a fire.
These could be dropped from the air by helicopters even in areas they can't land.
Also drop water with them in some kind of sturdy package.
Add what you think they could use. They'll want campfires, lights, etc.
