On that note. We had a local festival last week. A moderately successful couple was walking by a stand offering bottled water. They were thirsty and said that they should just take the water. They stopped once they realized my wife and I were watching them. Criminality becomes more acceptable the more it happens. This year's long shitshow of not arresting thieves is starting to impact society. I know it seems small but I see the warping of our social values. It's untenable.
