I’m not arguing that this specific case is definitely not BS.
Giving out loans to people that couldn’t pay them back, or didn’t know they had to because they didn’t read the fine print, has been a mechanism of property and power seizure for at least 100 years, if not far longer.
The federal reserve made a lot of loans to Europe after WWII for “reconstruction”, for example, or our loans to Iraq after Desert Storm. This country had loans that it owed after the Revolutionary War that had partly been attempts at doing the same thing.
I would like to see one of these contracts get posted, for this specific case, but am not sure which specific subcontractor of FEMA might even be writing them.
But nobody is going to sign these loans with, “and if you don’t pay me back I get all the stuff under this piece of your control, muhahaha!” that’s effectively the way it works, though.
