Seriously though, I just had a few beers w/ a friend who just returned from the devastation 90 minutes from here. He showed me photos of HUMMVs from 82nd ABN, I'm tracking a C130 from 79th Rescue & REcovery, and he interacted with a FEMA body recovery operation from PA - firefighters on contract. No negative interactions w/ anyone and they were all open carrying. So, I think there are real first responders helping out. It's the GSs that flew into AVL on V22 thinking they are important. The relief effort and resupply chain is building up strong, even with I-40 out. I may plan a mission up there for later this week.
Thank you for this info. At least some response is happening other than civilians. I am donating to several different outfits that are getting help to the people in need.
FEMA Team 1 -"We need to put up road closed signs to keep a clear path for our response."
FEMA Team 2 -"We can't go around a road closed sign!"
The slope of the road is too dangerous.

I'm thinking about going in at the end of the week,I have a Starlink that's unused w/ other supplies,
Exactly! This is how they make sure that no one person ever has accountability.
Those road closed signs are the Butler, PA equivalent of a steep roof!
