Why do people make the Triune God so complicated? It's really not. Consider tea as a conceptual model. You put the tea into hot water and add honey. Those are the 3 "hypostases" (supporting substances) of the one beverage. Are they three "separate" substances? No, not in the tea, they're not. They are distinct--the tea is still tea, the water is still water, and the honey is still honey--but they are not separate. They are the one beverage. And the water is in the tea, the tea is in the water, and the honey infuses it all. This is God; distinct, but never separate--three hypostases of the one God. Here you can see, "I am in the Father and the Father is in Me." "I and the Father are one." "If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father." In Ephesians 1, their separate activities are shown throughout. One example: the Father blesses, with spiritual blessings, in Christ (v. 3). They are distinct, but they are working together for one purpose.
Thank you for posting Sam. Through his expositions I've had my understanding opened BIG TIME. I now believe God is triune again, and that we can talk to the Saints. I've got a much better understanding of the true Church too! Lord knows I have some sins to confess and repent of in my efforts to expose Mystery Babylon 😞 I was reckless in handling it. Pray for me please that I may be led by the holy Spirit in this🙏🙏🙏
