I don't see why it would not 'just work' like every other thing.

The concern is more about the efficiency of 12v dc conversion to 120ac. The excessive conversion/loss of 12v dc for something that would be active for a very long time, makes you want to make sure it's as efficient as possible.

I ordered one, I'll take a look. Thanks
