Is the far left capable of being infuriated by evil and treason? They usually tout the positive attributes of the end justifies the means and the cost as a minor inconvenience compared to the benefits and the greater good
Can I offer a counter? I talk to a lot of lefties. Surrounded by them at work. (SE at FAANG/MAMAA). They used to only view the migrant situation from their bleeding heart perspective: helping "the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor" a la Zechariah 7:10. So your every day lefty normie doesn't see who's actually coming in, and thinks helping migrants is the 'right think to do'. This is why it's so easy for the DS left to use this to bring in not so friendly folks as DJT would say. Under the guise of 'helping'.
Anyway,
This year, and especially the last 6 months or so, I've seen not necessarily a change, but at the very least a co-narrative start to push against the above one which is very simple: "We are hurting at home. Our house isn't in order, why let more people in?". A lot of these folks are beginning to see it when it comes to jobs numbers, the economy, aid to foreign countries, and now FEMA being out of money to help with major disasters affecting their 'real' countrymen.
All of this to say, 90% of the 'every day' democrat folks I talk to can be (slightly) red-pilled by talking about this is in real everyday terms that effect them or those around them. The 'murderers are coming in' point they see as racist - but 'the Federal government can't help states impacted by an extra spicy hurricane season because we are spending too much money abroad and on non-citizens' really begins to hit them. They adore government, and always believe it will be there when they need it. This year, especially, has crcked the veneer of a 'Good' or "useful" government.
This is how I approach conversations with them, and it's been VERY fruitful. My two cents.

Thanks for taking the time to write that. Most of the liberal left I'm around regularly aren't experiencing the pain personally, so...
I have seen less boisterous talk though, as if the pride in their leaders has lost it's luster.
Time for the MOASS then.
