People may want to look into this(should be an easy check to see if water-levels are roughly the same as before the storm).....

Which dam was it that multiple news outlets reported failed (using the same wording) when it hadn't? And I wonder who controls it

Lake Lure I thank. It failed a dozen times & it was awful. Now I hear Hurricane MILTON will be a mostly peaceful storm. Check Snopes for sure.
