The solution isn’t only to get better candidates voted in, which is the lie they put this system in place with, though we can’t have people holding office en masse who defy the law, but also to get out the word of how to hold them accountable to what we want done while they’re in office, and to reteach ourselves what jurisdictions we are in and why that matters.
I’ve been trying to promote christine_grab and Martin Geddes’ works here, as they seem to be in the right path. Martin is even having success in ENGLAND with this, which is much farther gone than we are. It’s quite possible this could even work in non-common law countries, as there must be some legal basis underpinning all tyrannical claims of authority.
