To the rest of the world it is a nothingburger because the slow drip process has desensitized the masses to it.

We better see shock and awe soon, or this topic will have been eroded and not as unifying as we thought it would/should have been.

Part of me really wants to say "methinks she doth protest too much"; the fact they immediately engaged their attorney to send a formal cease & desist letter, seems to me like smoke.
